A mini titanium screw is a tiny, medical-grade anchor (1.5–2 mm in diameter, 6–8 mm long) temporarily placed into the jawbone. Known in orthodontics as a TAD (Temporary Anchorage Device), it acts as a fixed point to pull, shift, or align teeth precisely without relying on other teeth for leverage.

It provides absolute skeletal anchorage to perform complex movements like fixing a gummy smile, pulling impacted teeth, or closing severe gaps faster than traditional braces.
